I learnt that Laetitia Dagan, the Assistant Director in Aso-Rock who is a native of Plateau state was murdered by unknown persons on Monday February 17th around 11pm in her apartment. I want to congratulate the efforts of the FCT police Command who arrested an alleged suspect on this murder case.  

The FCT Criminal Investigation department says preliminary investigation shows that the suspect allegedly conspired with some others who are still on the run. Meanwhile, we have new details on why Dagan, the Assistant Director at the State House, was murdered.

The Guardian reports that Dagan was murdered by some Yahoo boys living around her residence. The deceased had reportedly complained to the police that some Yahoo boys around her residence were making her uncomfortable. She allegedly later reported the development to the police and the suspected criminals were arrested. They were later freed and got to know that their arrest was prompted by the deceased.

The assailants decided to revenge by subjecting Dagan to the agony of slow death. She was said to have first been tied in her apartment and subjected her to various indecent acts before strangulating her to death and setting the body ablaze.

According to a statement by the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) command’s spokesman, Anjuguri Manzah, the arrest followed a preliminary probe by the criminal investigation department of the force. The police added that the suspect whose identity was not revealed conspired with others, who are still on the run…
